• ABC Anchor: If There’s Any Liberal Media Bias, It’s Not on Purpose

You’ve got to hand it to Steve Malzberg in this clip, as he lays out the best case he can to a typical ABC News lightweight. But in the end, Dan Harris and his ilk over at the network just don’t get it. “If” there’s media bias? “If”? Seriously? The way Harris attempts to put the issue to bed by declaring bias to be a sort of accidental mistake–which is essentially what he’s doing when he uses terms like “subconscious”–is the very essence of the problem. The biases of mainstream news outlets run so deep that most of the time, they’re completely unaware that they’re even DOING it. And I know this will come as a shock to some, but that doesn’t make it acceptable.

In typical biased fashion, Dan also tries his hand with the “some of my best friends are black” tactic that white racists often employ to deflect criticism. In this case, it’s “We actually have some very, very powerful voices, and I’m not going to say who, within our building, who are conservative.” Well that’s convenient, isn’t it? Hey, Dan: WHO THE HELL ARE THEY?!?

And are we seriously supposed to be impressed that Harris followed up that ridiculous assertion by refusing to name liberals at the network too? I hate to break it to you, Dan, but you actually don’t have to bother identifying the Lefties at ABC News for us, because we already know who they are: everyone.
