For every man who wants to bash his head against the wall when his best girl makes him sit through endless hours of The Bachelor, the Fox broadcast network may have just created something that guys and girls alike can enjoy together.Girls will love the dating premise.
Guys will salivate over the cruel trick.
Introducing, from the creators of Joe Millionaire, a new show called I Wanna Marry “Harry”. You’ll notice that the name “Harry” is in quotations. That’s because the bachelor on this dating show isn’t the famed Prince Harry, but rather, a Harry-lookalike. And therein lies the ruse. 12 lovely single ladies have been flown out to a palace in London, England, where they will compete for the affections of “Harry,” whose actual name is Matthew Hicks. While the gals are under the impression that they’ll be marrying into royalty if he selects them, in actuality, he’s just an average dude with nothing special to offer–and the contestants won’t find that out until the game is over! Sick burn!
What do you think? Is it genius? Or a mean attempt to embarrass a dozen beautiful women? Weigh in below.
