Protesters in San Diego, California gathered outside a health care convention Friday morning, as Hillary Clinton spoke via satellite. Clinton was scheduled to appear at the event in person, but cited scheduling conflicts as the reason for the virtual appearance. However, critics of the Former Secretary of State believe the real reason was to dodge the protest.
Clinton, earning a whopping $200,000 for each speaking engagement, managed to personally attend prior events; even speaking in San Jose, CA the night before the San Diego hit. Hillary Clinton is a prospective candidate for the 2016 presidential race.
