• Obama Snubs Boston Marathon Commemoration

Today White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said President Obama and his staff chose to limit press access and commemorate the anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing in the White House because “It is mostly important in Boston.”

Joe Biden spoke Tuesday at a ceremony in Boston honoring those killed and injured during the attack.

It’s utterly shameful for Obama to skip the ceremony held in Boston. When it comes to taking a trip to the golf course or ESPN’s studios to fill out his basketball bracket, Obama doesn’t hesitate. But the fact that he couldn’t board his private plane and be in Boston to help bring healing to the survivors and families of this horrific attack, is a disgrace.

Obama observed the anniversary of the Boston bombing in a private moment of silence at the White House, according to the Boston Herald.

But the Boston bombing wasn’t a private attackt; it was a terrorist attack on this country. And for Obama to skip out on being present with our Boston brothers and sisters today is completely unacceptable.
