• Not Again … Obama Bows To Japanese Robot

During his visit to Tokyo, Mr. Obama had a chance to meet ASIMO a Japanese humanoid robot. ASIMO, an acronym for Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility, exchanged bows with the president before demonstrating that it could kick a soccer ball. ” How about that, that was pretty impressive,” Obama marveled after the demonstration.”I have to say the robots were a little scary,” he said ” they were too life-like.”

Everyone is making a big deal out of the fact that Mr. Obama bowed to a robot during his visit to Japan.
Why such a fuss? Mr. Obama was just acknowledging a creature of superior intellect and bowed out of respect.
Perhaps Mr. Obama should confer with ASIMO and ask it how he could  boost economic growth here in the U.S. or better yet, since it looks like a diminutive Star Wars storm trooper he should ask how it would deal with Putin and the Ukraine, surely he could do no worse than our very own robot, John Kerry.
