Farrow was covering a segment following President Obama’s speech on the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act when he mistakenly introduced panel member and NAACP President Ben Jealous saying, “And also Ben Jealous, former head of the NCAA . . . tell me, gentlemen . . . NAACP, I apologize.”
There’s even a weird pause just after Farrow commits the flub. One can only assume that just before Ronan corrected himself, some poor MSNBC producer had to whisper in the kid’s ear, “Hey dude, it’s NAACP.”
