Dear Rolling Stone editors,

There’s one problem with your latest cover:

John Hancock did not sign the Constitution. He signed the Declaration of Independence. I know, history is hard, but perhaps you should have some adults take a second look before going to press.

Possible excuses Jann Wenner and boys will use to cover their buffoonery:

1. “We were being ironic” (whatever the hell that means)

2. “This was a subtle test to see who would spot it first.” Answer: the grown ups.

3. “It’s artistic license,” (which means, artists get a pass on stupidity)

Hunter Thompson’s ghost just sent word that you are all too ignorant to live and should go back to your mother’s basements where you belong.
