Elected Democrats across the country are on a corruption arrest roll.
They are charged with running guns in California, bribery and extortion in North Carolina, and, the latest, grand larceny and falsifying business records in New York.
Today, Democratic member of the New York City Council Ruben Wills was arrested. Wills is accused of illegally pocketing more than $30,000 in public funds for his own use, prosecutors said. He’s also accused of routing thousands of dollars that came from city and state sources to a non-profit he founded, called New York 4 Life, and to his campaign committee, state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said in a statement.
