On Tuesday’s “The Today Show,” former CNN talk show host Larry King poked fun at his old network for their seemingly nonstop coverage of missing Malaysian Airlines flight 370 saying, “The tough time I would have at CNN now, I think, would be doing this airplane story. Because I think I’d crack up laughing.”“I think I would have – you know, how many times can you cover a plane? Six weeks and all we know is it made a left turn,” King added.
Today co-host Willie Geist asked king, “So you wouldn’t do that story?”
“Well, what if they forced me to,” King replied. “I would probably not want to do it. I think it would get embarrassing after a while.”
Indeed, CNN has postulated that the missing flight vanished due to a black hole. And after blaming the plane’s disappearance on supernatural forces, CNN took their wild guesses a step further with the zombie theory. Yeah, that happened.
Sorry, Larry. But embarrassing is an understatement.Send this to a friend
