Earlier this week, comedian and actor Louis C.K. took to Twitter and fired off his concerns about how Common Core State Standards are destroying his kids’ enthusiasm for learning.
Yesterday, C.K. continued to voice his concerns about Common Core’s teasing standards, the pressure it puts on this students, parents, and teachers:
It’s this massive stressball that hangs over the whole school. The kids teachers trying to adapt to these badly written notions.

Kids teachers parents are vocally suffering. Doesnt that matter? listen to them. Adapt and slow down CCSS. Cool it with the testing — Louis C.K. (@louisck) May 1, 2014
CCSS. It’s a new program. why defend it aS perfect? Why let poor test writers profit and tell parents and teachers they are “wrong”.

Funny guy C.K. also appeared on David Letterman where he took more jabs at Common Core saying, “A lot of the year is about the test, teaching to the test they call it. They decided there’s a new way kids should think, and we’re going to prove they’re thinking it by having them pass these tests. Or we’ll burn the school down.”
Reports that Louis C.K.’s attacks on Common Core are being funded by the Koch brothers may or may not be true. Also, Louis C.K. probably likes to drink tea and party.
C.K.’s camp did not respond to our emails.
