• These Thoughtful Criminals Returned the Baby That Was Sitting in the Car They Stole

    What nice, sweet young men

Is this the first believable case of “accidental” kidnapping? Down in Florida, the St. Petersburg Police Department is on the hunt for two teen suspects. According to the news release, the victims of the crime were unloading tables and chairs from their SUV into the Gethsemane Missionary Baptist church. The car keys were in the ignition, and their 10-month-old baby girl was still strapped into her car seat. For whatever reason, the parents went inside the church without taking their daughter…and that’s when the suspects saw their opportunity. They jumped in the SUV and took off.

But barely three minutes later, the criminals realized what they had done, and they dropped the infant off on the doorstep of a nearby home. The homeowner then called the cops.

Still, their moment of conscience wasn’t enough to return the SUV. The suspects are still at large with the stolen car. But at least it can be argued that they had SOME sort of moral code. I think.
