Barbara Walters is wrapping up a TV career that spans more than 50 years. And one New Orleans woman is celebrating Walters’ five decades in broadcast by getting a tattoo.
Lizz Dodd got Barbara Walters’ face tattooed on her leg and says it’s a symbol of empowerment.
“She went after her stories like a man, got it done and proved that women could do it too,” Dodd said. “She really had an impact on my generation.”
Sounds like my kind of woman.
Barbara Walters made her final appearance on the “The View” today and was joined by “surprise” guests Hillary Clinton, actor Michael Douglas, and Sofia from The Color Purple, also known as Oprah Winfrey.
