It’s so refreshing to see that the spirit of the great Rube Goldberg, who passed away back in 1970, is still alive and well. His wacky contraptions have inspired generations of young inventors and viral video stars. Every year, The Rube Goldberg Machine Contest challenges its participants to come up with an incredibly complex and humorous way to perform a simple everyday task. This year’s challenge? Zip a zipper.Congratulations to Andrew, Adam, Becca, David, and Jordan from Purdue University for winning the contest with their amazing contraption, called ” A Simple Way to get Ready for Work.” Above, see it in action on the Kimmel show just a few nights ago.
