  • Harry Reid On Bergdahl Swap: “What Difference Does It Make?”

Channeling his best Hillary Clinton, Sen. Harry Reid responded with a “What difference does it make?” when asked by a reporter today when he was told of the Bergdahl deal to let five dangerous Taliban killers go free.

“A big deal over nothing,” added Reid.

Of course, whether the President violated a law he signed and Congress authorized putting restrictions on the circumstances allowing Gitmo detainees loose is, in fact, a “big deal.”

Reid’s flippant response seems to be the Democrat Party’s guiding philosophy:

Why endanger American lives by letting five dangerous Taliban fighters free?

    What difference does it make?

Why were members of Bergdahl’s rescue team required to sign nondisclosure forms?

    What difference does it make?

Did Bergdahl collaborate with the enemy?

    What difference does it make?

Will the Taliban Five make it back to the battlefield?

    What difference does it make?

Why was an apparent deserter given a hero’s annoucement in the Rose Garden?

    What difference does it make?

How many soldiers died trying to rescue an alleged deserter?

    What difference does it make?

Is it wise foreign policy to negotiate with terrorists?

    What difference does it make?

Yep, that five-letter question aptly describes the Dem Party’s atrocious, incoherent, and ludicrous foreign policy.

And it DOES make a difference.
