  • Helmet Camera Captures Armed Robbery In Real Time

    Here’s a tip for all you would-be robbers out there: Don’t rob someone wearing a GoPro camera on their head.

     That’s exactly what these three dopes did. Mountain biker Malcolm Fox was just minding his business and riding through South Africa’s beautiful Western Cape when a robber wielding a handgun accosted him. The gun-toting robber and two accomplices took Fox’s bike and backpack, The Citizen reports.

    The idiot robber took everything except the GoPro Fox just happened to have mounted to his helmet. Apparently they didn’t realize what it was.

    Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Andrè Traut said all three suspects have been captured–thanks to the video–and have been charged with armed robbery. Police recovered Fox’s cell phone, but have yet to recover the bike.
