One of the things that’s so refreshing and charming about Dana Carvey is the fact that he understands the art of not overexposing himself. We don’t see a whole lot of Dana these days, but when we do, he’s usually providing comedy gold (apart from that rather unfortunate and embarrassing “Master of Disguise” movie back in 2002). So what if he tends to rely on the same impressions over and over again? Those impressions made him famous for a reason: he’s good at them.
This week, Carvey joined The Late Show With David Letterman, where he was asked by Dave what a late night monologue by Johnny Carson might look like in the year 2014. Check out the video above, as the “Wayne’s World” star managed to string together Biden, Bieber, and Rob Ford…all in the voice of Johnny. Now isn’t that special?
