• WH Press Secretary: Hobby Lobby Ruling “Jeopardizes” Women’s Health

In his daily briefing Monday, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said the Supreme Court’s 5-4 Hobby Lobby decision “jeopardizes the health of women employed by these companies.”

Earnest’s predictably moronic comments came in reaction to the Supreme Court ruling against Obamacare’s mandate to force private companies to offer their employees birth control.

“We believe the owners of for-profit companies should not be allowed to assert their personal religious views to deny their employees federally mandated benefits,” Earnest said.

He noted that the Obama administration will “respect” (uh huh) the high court’s ruling but “will continue to look for ways to improve American’s health by helping women have more, not less, say over the personal health decisions that affect them and their families.”
