Local Houston, Texas news station Fox 26 interviewed Bernadette Lancelin and asked her what she thought about the Obama administration’s decision to feed and provide shelter for the unaccompanied minors being held at the border.
“It’s not right. Now billions of dollars want to be borrowed from the White House to help feed and house them,” Lancelin shouted. “What about the goddamn kids here? In our neighborhood? In our country? Not just in this neighborhood but in our country?”
“Am I the only one in this community that’s out here that watches the news every goddamn morning,” a frustrated Lancelin asked. “Oh, my God! I feel alone right now in this, and I’m very saddened by it.”
Indeed, Miss Lancelin has every right to be pissed about the resources the country is wasting to feed and medicate these illegal immigrants. In fact, since September, there have been at least 50,000 unaccompanied youths who have illegally crossed the Texas border. Countless million in taxpayer dollars have been used to facilitate this. And U.S. officials have caught an additional 240,000 Central American migrants since April, and are transporting many of them to various destinations throughout America, according to the New York Times.
