A whopping 68 percent of Americans disapprove of Obama’s immigration policies, according to a new Associated Press/ GFK poll. Thus, making immigration President Obama’s worst issue in terms of public perception.
A mere 31 percent approve, down from 38 percent in May.
“When you separate those most passionate about the issue, the difference is even more stark, with 57 percent opposed and just 18 percent in favor. That’s more than three-to-one,” writes Wapo reporter Arron Blake.
And if you can think back to April, a Fox News poll also found that 68 percent of Americans said they wanted Obama to secure the border first before moving forward with any new immigration reform bill.Send this to a friend
