“How does that speech, how does that tone, how does the confrontation,” Halperin asked, “given all the history, how does that solve this?” Halperin was merely repeating the same question asked earlier by “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough.
“How does that deal with ‘what kind of country are we that the president can’t figure out a way to lead to get the situation with the kids solved?’” Halperin added.
The liberal-leaning MSNBC panel was reacting to a speech Obama gave yesterday in which he said “This isn’t theater. This is a problem. I’m not interested in photo-ops. I’m interested in solving a problem.” Obama actually uttered that idiotic sentence just 24 hours after he had spent the night drinking and partying.
