It’s been quite the week for Bubba the Love Sponge, has it not? First, we had the spicy new revelations about Bill Clinton’s busty mistress (codename: “Energizer”), and now, a report that may explain how and why Slick Willy became such a sex fiend.
In a new book by Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Lucinda Franks called Timeless: Love, Morgenthau, and Me, it’s revealed that Hillary Clinton once told the author about abuse Bill suffered at the hands of his own mother, Virginia Kelley.“She hurt her son in ways you wouldn’t believe,” Hillary is quoted as saying in the book. “I am not going into it, but I’ll say that when this happens in children, it scars you. You keep looking in all the wrong places for the parents who abused you.” The comments were allegedly made back in 1999, about a year after Monica Lewinsky had become a household name.
The former president has praised his mother on multiple occasions for succeeding in the difficult job of raising two sons under very trying circumstances. Kelley was even a fixture on the trail during Clinton’s ’92 campaign. But secretly, Hillary revealed that Bill had a much darker past with his mom from as early on as four years old, and she blamed Virginia for turning Bill into a sex-addicted philanderer.
Bill also had an abusive alcoholic stepfather in Roger Clinton, and between his parents, Hillary claimed her husband was hurt “in ways you wouldn’t believe.”
Wow, what a downer. I think we all need to dance:
