  • Full-Time Student Shares Her Own Obamacare Horror Story

    Obamacare’s latest victim is Jenna Davis, a full-time student who recently had her healthcare coverage dropped due to Obamacare.

    Davis believed the lie that Obamacare would offer her affordable healthcare, but the horrible law has been a nightmare she says.

    “I was very upset- very frustrated. I felt slightly cheated, like they were purposely trying to do something to keep me from having insurance. That’s really how I felt,” Davis said.

    Davis’ insurance broker, Alex Mercer, said he ran into problems getting his clients registered for Obamacare during its initial rollout. Mercer now has more than 30 customers currently dealing with Obamacare cancellation issues. Their number one headache, Mercer explains, is that every time his clients attempts to pay their bill, they are dropped from coverage.

    “It kind of defeats the whole purpose of what the law was about of helping those that need financial assistance to get their healthcare insurance. They’re simply getting hung in the wind a little bit after it’s being dropped,” Mercer told WECT.
