• Charlie Rangel Says He Was Told Not To Talk About Tea Party Racism, Then Proceeds To Call Tea Party Racist

In an interview with C-SPAN, Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY) said it was “requested” that he not describe the Tea Party’s criticism of Obama as being based on racism because “it’s just too darn obvious to see what it’s all about.”

After nearly five decades in Congress, Charlie Rangel has become a shameless bomb thrower. Including being censured by Congress, some of his lowest moments in office have come in recent years.

This March he called the Tea Party a bunch of “mean, racist people.” And most recently, Rangel compared the Tea Party to the murderous terror group Hamas.

And after all of that, Tax Cheat Charlie says “people said please don’t bring up that race thing anymore.”

But just moments after he explained how he agreed to no longer call the Tea Party a group of racists for simply disagreeing with Obama’s policies, he proceeded to insinuate that Tea Party criticism of Obama exist merely because he’s black.

“If the president was not black and he was white that this type of animosity would not be directed at the president of the United States.”

Hopefully this idiot will retire from office sooner than later and disappear from public life.
