If you get the marijuana munchies, the answer has always been simple: order a pizza. But what if you run out of the marijuana?
Ah, problem solved!Introducing a new smokin’ start-up based out of San Francisco. It’s called Eaze, and it’s about as “Eaze-y” as a pot-lover can imagine: boo boo bama delivered to your door in a whopping 10 minutes or less.
Now, before you get so excited that you knock over your Bob Marley records, remember where this company is based: San Francisco. That means that delivery is (currently) limited only to licensed users of MEDICAL marijuana. But it’s fairly obvious how this company can eventually expand to Colorado, Washington State, and whoever else is next in the ganja game.
The idea is simple: fire up the Eaze app, get verified that you have a legal license to purchase cannabis in California, and then take your pick of pot from the plentiful strains available. The app will notify you when your “caregiver” is expected to arrive on your doorstep with the weed.
“When I told my parents about my idea for Eaze, they accused me of becoming a glorified drug dealer,” creator Keith McCarty says. “I get why people might have a negative initial view of the marijuana business. It’s been that way in our society for a long time, but times are changing.”Indeed they are. It’s not completely clear whether one is expected to tip their “caregiver,” but it seems like it would probably be appropriate. Nor was there an indication of whether orders are free of charge if they arrive late.
Now if Eaze could only combine itself with a pizza delivery service, that would be true one-stop shopping online.
