• Joan Rivers Doubles Down: “Low IQ” Palestinians “Deserve to Be Dead”

Admit it, you knew this one was coming. It was only about 2 weeks ago that comedienne extraordinaire Joan Rivers blew a gasket over the preponderance of anti-Israel voices that have dominated our media. But as you probably assumed, it wasn’t the last thing she had to say. TMZ caught up with Joan at LAX this week, where she took some time to reiterate the gist of those remarks, and added in a little something extra too:

We now don’t count who’s dead,” said Rivers of Palestinians. “If you’re dead, you deserve to be dead. You started it … go back to the atomic bomb and what we did in Japan. You don’t start wars and then decide ‘I’m sorry.’ They were told to get out, and if you don’t get out, you’re an idiot. At least the ones who were killed were the ones with low IQs.”

Yeah, don’t mess with Joan. She’s got a mouth and she’s not afraid to use it. However, after a bit of blow-back on Thursday, she issued a statement saying that she had been taken out of context by her critics. She told TMZ, “What I said and stand behind is, war is hell and unfortunately civilians are victims of political conflicts. We, the United States, certainly know this as 69 years later we still feel the guilt of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Along with every other sane person in this world, I am praying for peace.”

Elsewhere in the media world, Joe Scarborough’s Israel-bashing head has reportedly blown right off his shoulders.
