• Michael Eric Dyson: “I Ain’t Sayin’ That Obama is Jesus, BUT…”

The man-crush has been confirmed, ladies and germs. Fresh off of referring to Barack Obama as an “oratorical genius” just over a week ago, Michael Eric Dyson has decided to one-up himself. The so-called law professor at Georgetown University has been calling on the president to speak out more on the killing of Michael Brown as it relates to race relations in America. Apparently, Dyson doesn’t seem to think there’s been quite enough race-bating taking place in the aftermath of the shooting. Don’t tell Jesse and Sharpie.

Let me tell you what,” Dyson said to MSNBC’s Melissa Harris Perry, who is a fellow member of the three-names club. “Eric Holder, one of, what, five most powerful black figures ever. Obama, Holder, Clyburn, William Gray. These figures have been extraordinarily important in politics. But, you know, I’m a Christian preacher, and God finally said, “Look, I can’t send nobody else. I got to go myself.” And I ain’t sayin’ that Obama is Jesus, but for many of his followers, he is.”

Wow. A cigarette-smoking socialist Jesus who loves golfing. Who knew?

I’ll hand it to him, though. Dyson is certainly correct in asserting that most of Barry’s followers DO in fact think he’s Christ Almighty.

The Hustler continued, as he begged POTUS not to be shy. “I’m saying, show up, dog, and show us you are seriously committed to the interests of your people, because your presence says something even louder than your words.”

“Show up, dog”? Perhaps we can have a side discussion about how much Professor Dyson’s students are paying in tuition to hear brilliance like that.

I ain’t sayin’ that Michael Eric Dyson is a complete moron or anything, BUT…
