• NBC Reporter Sticks His Hand Into a Box Full of Mosquitos…and is Shocked to Get Bitten

Now this guy really has a nose for news, and it’s not even a sweeps period. If you aren’t familiar with him, meet NBC’s Kerry Sanders. Not only is he a True Man of Genius, but the report above manages to solidify the intelligence and integrity of virtually all people in the news business. I like to think of this clip as emblematic of everyone I’ve ever seen working in the NBC News division.

What we have here is Sanders testing out a new mobile app that purports to act as a mosquito repellent. The “Anti-Mosquito Sonic Repeller” is said to emit a frequency that the insects simply do not like, though it doesn’t seem to have claimed anywhere that it can eliminate bites altogether.

Still, Kerry thought this would be a great opportunity to go for it. So he decided to stick his whole hand inside a box FILLED with 5,000 mosquitoes. Shockingly…wait for it…they ate him right up. I’m just guessing here, but I think it may have something to do with the fact that he didn’t even open up the app until his arm was already halfway devoured. But cut him a break. He works in television news.

Well, it was a bad day to be Kerry Sanders. But at least now he knows what it feels like to be an Israeli.

(Yes, I just compared Hamas to a swarm of mosquitoes).
