In the above clip, you’ll see that the KISS bass guitarist spoke quite eloquently about the ongoing crisis between Israel and Hamas, and it had a special poignancy coming from him. “I was born in Israel and came to America as an eight 1/2-year-old boy with my mother, who is a Holocaust survivor,” he explained, as he called for the destruction of Hamas. The goal, said Gene, should be “to have mothers be able to raise their children in peace.”
Amen, Gene Machine. I encourage you to watch the whole clip, as he had plenty more to say on that score.
Simmons also weighed in on Obama’s handling of Russia and Vladimir Putin, which you can see here:
“I think that our president is not being a leader,” Gene told the Foxy ladies. “He’s not stepping up and drawing a line in the sand and sticking to it … I believe our president’s got to make some strong statements and back it up. Mean what you said and say what you mean.”I know we recently called for Howard Stern and Joan Rivers to take over the State Department, but can we please throw Mr. Simmons in there as well? The ironic thing here is that Gene is supposed to be the one who wants to “rock and roll all night and party every day.” Instead, that’s what Obama is doing while Gene Simmons monitors international affairs. What world is this?
