You’d think with this administration’s poll numbers in the gutter and Obama’s “broad coalition” to combat ISIS already falling apart, that the White House spokesman would show a little humility before the nation.
But as it turns out, the newest talking points-parroting White House tool, Josh Earnest, is as smug as his predecessor.Earnest was asked by a reporter yesterday, “What does victory look like here? You’ve talked about destroying ISIL, I honestly don’t know what that means. What does that mean?”
“I didn’t bring my Webster’s dictionary with me up here,” Earnest replied.
After receiving deserved pushback by the reporter, Earnest responded with a more detailed answer of what he called the “broader goal of degrading and ultimately destroying ISIL.”
Earnest’s snide comments came just as it was being reported that Obama’s so-called “broad coalition” against ISIS had already lost Britain and Germany.
