Woodson: Higher Royalties on Online Music Could Kill Industry
Miami radio personality, lawyer and Daily Surge contributor Edward Woodson told “MidPoint” host Ed Berliner on Newsmax TV Thursday that a bipartisan push for the Justice Department to force Internet song-streaming services to pay higher royalties to music publishers could bankrupt online services, such as Pandora, and kill the whole industry.
“This is about greed,” Woodson stated.
