It seems like every time CNN’s Silver Fox opens his mouth about Mommy Dearest, bad things happen. Anderson Cooper sat down with David Letterman last night, where once again, the topic of Gloria Vanderbilt (now 90-years old) and her storied life came up.
For whatever reason, Anderson decided to share a few details of Gloria’s sexual escapades, including hookups with Frank Sinatra and movie stars like Errol Flynn and Clark Gable. Oh yeah, and then there was that time she agreed to engage in, for lack of a better term, sloppy seconds with Marlon Brando after her friend had already conquered The Godfather. As soon as Cooper began the story, Letterman pleaded, “Don’t say that about your mother!”
But he did, and Dave did not protest much. “This is remarkable,” Letterman declared.
