• Axelrod To Dems: You’ll Be “Tarred” With ObamaCare, So Shut Up And “Embrace” It

A couple of weeks ago Obama said “I am not on the ballot this fall. Michelle’s pretty happy about that. But make no mistake: these policies are on the ballot. Every single one of them.”

And in recent days Democrats running for election or reelection in tight races have been fuming over those comments.

Republican candidates have weaponized Obama’s politically fatal 28 words and turned them into rhetorical torpedoes.

And now, longtime Democratic campaign strategist David Axelrod has had enough.

“I think it is a mistake to run away from it. There are tremendous benefits from the Affordable Care Act,” Axelrod said. “Florida, Ohio, those are really swing states. Those governors really appreciate it. You’re going to get tarred with the Affordable Care Act.”

One public opinion poll after another shows that voters don’t trust Obama and the Democrats on the economy, jobs, immigration, or foreign affairs. And Republicans are looking like a lock to take back control of the U.S. Senate.

And they can probably thank OBamacare and David Axelrod for that.
