• Breitbart’s John Nolte Praises Jason Mattera For Taking On Lois Lerner

If you haven’t heard, Daily Surge publisher Jason Mattera is back in the headlines after releasing his latest ambush interview of disgraced IRS head Lois Lerner.

Jason can be seen on camera asking a visibly annoyed Lerner questions like “You don’t feel bad that you were using the government as a weapon to try to crush political dissent?”

Mattera has been holding government officials’ feet to the fire for years. And it’s his brand of gutsy, gumshoe journalism that has Breitbart writer John Notle jumping for joy.

“But what is he really doing?” Nolte asks of Jason. “A little thing we used to call ‘journalism.'”

“He’s demanding answers and comment from a powerful government official who abused her office for partisan political purposes,” Nolte continues. “Now, on a $100,000 annual pension, this corrupt official is able to hide behind the 5th Amendment without reporters bothering her.

“How is this allowed to happen in America?”

Answering his own question, Notle says because “The American mainstream media as an institution is nothing less than a boot-licking stooge determined to protect the power of central government.”

Mattera’s Lois Lerner video has garnered over 320,000 Youtube views in just over 24 hours. That’s huge. It’s extraordinary, really. And it’s happening because average Americans are yearning for honesty from the mainstream media and truth from government officials.

Jason is an ordinary guy doing extraordinary work that is the job of and should be done by political news media.

But you and I both know that too many in the mainstream media have chosen to align themselves with government.

So thank God for and support people like Jason Mattera and the work he does.
