• Guess Who This Missouri Democrat Says Is His “Biggest Enemy” In This Year’s Election

A video posted by Duane Lester at The Missouri Torch captures a rare moment of honesty from a Democratic politician.

During a speech to the Lincoln County Tea Party, Democrat Missouri State Representative Ed Schieffer, who is currently running for state senate, told the crowd that his political enemy is their political enemy: President Barack Obama.

Actually, Mr. Schieffer was much more harsh.

“My biggest enemy in my election is not Jeanie Riddle,” said Schieffer. Jeanie Riddle is his opponent for state senate.

No. “My biggest enemy is the President of the United States,” he said. “My eighth grade-educated father knew that. Eddie, you don’t have to worry too much about the lady running against you. You need to worry about the liberal, overly liberal, President and Congress we have. That’s what you have to worry about.”

Ed Schieffer may have just been trying to say whatever he thinks will win over Lincoln County Tea Party members, just so he can eek out a political victory.

Nevertheless, Mr. Schieffer’s is the latest example of Democratic candidates across the country running from or flat-out throwing Barack Obama under the bus.
