Has Michelle Obama Actually Seen the Music Video That Inspired Her Turnip Dance?

“Turnip … for what?”

That was the clever little play-on words our FLOTUS uttered before getting jiggy with a vegetable in her latest Vine. It was a reference to DJ Snake and Lil Jon’s hit, “Turn Down for What,” which has apparently become a sort of left-wing anthem for voter registration.

But one thought crossed my mind upon watching Michelle Obama’s five seconds of serenity: has she actually seen the original “Turn Down for What” video?

I mean, the thing is complete with exploding heads, people who look like they’re high on intense hallucinogens as they engage in lewd sex acts and twerking…and who could possibly ignore the guy with the massive erection?

On second thought, this actually seems wildly appropriate for the Obama White House.

All kidding aside, I’m no prude…but that probably wasn’t the best musical selection for the most powerful woman in the land who claims to be a role model for young girls.

Can you imagine Laura Bush dancing to this one?
