• Watch Soldier Surprise His Sobbing Daughter After 10 Month Tour

Every once in a while we are treated with access to that tear-jerking moment when a soldier returns home and surprises a loved one.

Last month we told you about 3-year-old Cooper who ignored military protocol and jumped into his mother’s arms during her welcome home ceremony.

Now, it’s a North Carolina mom named Meg Kaplan who filmed the precious moment that her husband Levi Kaplan surprised his daughter at a pumpkin patch.

Levi left his family to serve in Afghanistan and had been away for 10 months. Levi’s wife and children had been stationed at Fort Bragg, according to the Today Show.

In the two-minute video clip you can see Levi sneaking up behind his unsuspecting daughter. Levi yells happy “Pumpkin Day!” And his daughter reacts by embracing her dad, sobbing uncontrollably.

This short clip is a small reminder of the sacrifice military families make in service to their country.

I challenge you to watch the heartwarming footage and not tear up.

Grab some tissue, you’re probably going to need it.
