• Jason Mattera Dishes On ‘Pathetic’ DC Media In FreedomWorks Interview

In the third installment of Jason Mattera’s 3-part interview with FreedomWorks (video above), the Crapitalism author unloads on the “pathetic” mainstream media and dishes the details on his recent interviews of Senator Harry Reid and Lois Lerner.

“The media in D.C. are absolutely pathetic,” Mattera says. “They only care about having access and being part of the club.”

Mattera says showing up unannounced and trying to get comment from powerful government officials isn’t him “inventing anything.” Mattera argues that he is simply doing what local reporters are doing everyday all across the country, when they go after shady politicians or businessmen who are trying to evade the press.

“I’m just applying the same exact tactics and turning it on people who are corrupt like Lois Lerner,” Mattera said.

In the second installment with FreedomWorks, Mattera discussed rapper Jay-Z and his history of cronyism. Mattera also discussed the Republican Party and how they can lose their way and succumb to Washington’s culture of corruption.

And in part one, Mattera talked about how he doesn’t like the term “crony capitalism” because it is a perversion of the word “capitalism.” Mattera also explains the great irony of liberals who champion redistribution the of wealth from the rich to the poor, but have themselves succeeded greatly in redistributing that wealth to themselves and their crony buddies.
