Missouri Lt. Governor Peter Kinder told radio host Laura Ingraham that Michael Brown’s stepfather should be “charged” for inciting riots in Ferguson, Missouri.
After Kinder heard the audio of Michael Brown’s stepfather repeatedly shouting “burn this bitch down” in the moments after the grand jury’s decision, Kinder said “He should be arrested and charged with inciting to riot.”Indeed, St. Louis Alderman Antonio French told CNN’s Jake Tapper that “when he said those words [the] mood did change and things got a little bit out of control.”
“A little bit out of control,” thanks, in part, to Michael Brown’s stepfather led to an elderly man being car jacked and beaten, a police officer being shot at near Ferguson, and local business and national chains being burned to the ground.
Kinder made it clear that officer Darren Wilson was right to use deadly force to protect himself against Michael Brown’s attacks. Kinder also said the proposed changes to Missouri’s use of deadly force police guidelines would be minor, if any changes were implemented at all.
Here’s Michael Brown’s stepfather stoking the rage of the crowd just moments before all hell broke lose in Ferguson.
