• YIKES: Even MSNBC Can’t Find A Reason For Hillary To Run For President

Just when you thought you’ve seen everything, the buffoons over at MSNBC deliver a stink, steaming, hot mountain of irony.

“At this moment, beyond ‘it’s her turn, it’s her time,’ there’s not a clear articulated rationale for the candidacy as of yet,” Bloomberg News contributor John Heilemann said. That has got to burn Hillary because Heilemann has been writing about the Clinton’s for years.

“Ask yourself the question,” Heilemann said to the Morning Joe panel. “Right now if Elizabeth Warren decided tomorrow she was going run for president, nobody would have any lack of clarity why she was running. You could explain that in two sentences. “Right now Hillary Clinton you can’t explain in two sentences beyond the fact that she’s the dominant front-runner.”

Joe Scarborough chimed in and roasted Hillary with a Ted Kennedy comparison.

“He could not answer that simple question, and bluntly his presidential campaign never really took off and never recovered. Hillary Clinton right now couldn’t answer that question,” Scarborough said. “If somebody got a microphone in her face and asked her ‘why do you want to run for president?’ it might be the same thing. She couldn’t even promote a book this summer without falling over herself.”

Indeed, the late and not so great Teddy Kennedy was stumped when he was asked why he wanted the most important job in the world.

Huffington Post political reporter Sam Stein argued that Hillary’s entitlement campaign will be haunted by her Obama administration tenure, which is hellishly unpopular.

“As much as it’s rationale, part of the problem is Obama. She was part of his administration,” Stein said. “He’s been in office for years or will have been. Clearly voters have soured on the guy.”

“Her biggest problem. People are tired of looking at her. They’re just tired of it. People are just ready to change the channel,” Donny Deutsch said.

The irony, that I mentioned earlier, is that these clowns can’t come up with one reason why Hillary should run for president but they’ve praised and propped up Hillary–the former-First-Lady-who-became-Senator-and-Secretary-of-State-because-of-her-husband’s-accomplishments–for years.

So it’s like I said before. MSNBC is a stink, steaming, hot mountain of irony.
