• Another Banner Bashing De Blasio Seen Soaring Over NYC

Nearly a week after a banner reading “De Blasio, Our Backs Have Turned To You” was seen soaring over the Hudson River, another anti-de Blasio banner was spotted flying over New York City today.

The banner criticizing Mayor Bill de Blasio was first caught and reported on by WABC.

The banner read: “de Blasio, apologize to the NYPD.”

According to WABC, Michael Sheehan, a retired Correction Officer, and his father, a retired NYPD detective, organized the flyover.

The New York Daily News also reported that Mr. Sheehan hired the aircraft to fly the banner.

“The reason my father came home everyday was because none of his bosses placed him in such peril as you are doing with your mouth, Mayor de Blasio,” Michael Sheehan said in a statement.

The first banner that hit hizzoner as it soared through the skies was bought by a “large and unified group of current and retired NYC police officers, detectives, & supervisors,” according to former cop John Cardillo.
