• Head Tripping Obama Declares His 2014 Agenda a Success

We are as well-positioned today as we have been in quite some time,” Barack Obama declared in an interview with NPR’s Steve Inskeep.

The president was adamant that 2014 has been the “breakthrough year” that he has frequently promised, and said it’s now up to the Republican-led Congress to step up.

I’m obviously frustrated with the results of the midterm election. I think we had a great record for members of Congress to run on, and I don’t think we — myself and the Democratic Party — made as good of a case as we should have,” explained Obama, as he attempted to spin November’s landslide Republican victory.

Now you’ve got Republicans in a position where it’s not enough for them simply to grind the wheels of Congress to a halt and then blame me. They are going to be in a position in which they have to show that they can responsibly govern,” the president said.

Responsible governing, eh? He’s setting a great example!
