Great news for anyone concerned about the ramifications of the Senate Democrats’ so-called “torture report”: it’s actually “very sober” and “not political” at all!
…or so claim the morons over at MSNBC.Mark Halperin of Bloomberg, Jeremy Peters of The New York Times, and Richard Engel of NBC — a very balanced selection of voices — all came out in support of Senator Dianne Feinstein’s damning rebuke of the CIA’s enhanced interrogation techniques.
“I don’t think it’s political. Unfortunately in our climate it’s become seen in some ways as political. But it’s not. It’s history that needs to be told,” insisted Halperin.
“I think what you’ve seen on Capitol Hill is Congress exercising its oversight role in a very sober and heavy way,” added Peters.
And in a clear attempt to take the cake when it comes to seeping liberal bias, Engel outdid them both. “[Torture] doesn’t really work,” he proclaimed. “It’s what you do when you are lazy. It’s what you do when you are desperate, when you don’t know what you are doing, you don’t have the right intelligence, you don’t have the right police work. It’s lazy.”
And there you have it. The people who busted their butts to keep America safe after 9/11 were just a bunch of lazy, desperate goons…spoken from a group of guys who got paid today to sit around a table and babble about current events. I guess lazy is as lazy does.Send this to a friend
