• This Nine-Term Democrat is Ready to Dump Nancy Pelosi

This lefty has been a fixture in Washington for a LONG time…and it would appear that she has finally had about enough of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

She is really good at raising money,” said Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY). “That is not one of my fortes. I was never good at that. But they have to start training younger people and bring younger people into the caucus to become the future leaders. One of the things that I certainly believe with all of my heart and soul, you have to know when to leave. And Nancy does not feel this is the time to leave.”

McCarthy’s remarks went virtually unnoticed over the holiday weekend, but they may signify a growing frustration among Democrats about their party’s leadership. There have also been many quiet calls for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to step aside, but we all know how much Nancy and Harry love to cling to power.

Many of us thought [Pelosi] might stay for maybe this coming year,” continued McCarthy. “And then hopefully turn the reins over to someone else … I think it is time that the leaders start looking at ‘Who’s going to fill my spot?’ We are all replaceable.”

    Indeed.
