• Have You Seen The “Terminator: Genisys” Trailer? Because It’s Amazing

With an entirely new(ish) cast and a successfully high-powered plot, Terminator fans everywhere were rewarded today with the first look at the fifth installment in the blockbuster series.

Coming three decades after the first film was released, Terminator: Genisys looks promising.

The two and a half-minute trailer shows a battle-torn resistance still struggling to survive against a futuristic army of machines.

We finally get to see live-action footage of when John Connor (Jason Clarke) first sends Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back in time to save his mother, Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke).

But this time there’s a twist.

Reese arrives in 1984 only to find that Sarah Connor has already killed the first terminator that was sent to kill her. And Arnold Schwarzenegger is now her full-time body guard.

From there, a more familiar plot is set as Connor, the Schwarzenegger Terminator, and Reese try to stop the war with the  Skynet-controlled machines from ever starting.

My favorite part is when Arnold Schwarzenegger jumps face first from one helicopter into another, carrying automatic weapons.

The first trailer is breathtaking and certainly leaves fans asking a lot of questions.
