• VIDEO – Ferguson and The Art of the Protest

Just about one week ago, Daily Surge took a look at the immediate reaction of Ferguson protesters after it had been announced that police officer Darren Wilson would not be indicted for the shooting death of Michael Brown. They didn’t take it so well, to put it mildly.

But have tensions simmered at all in the days since? Not a chance. In fact, the Ferguson demonstrations have spread beyond Missouri itself, as rabble-rousers have been using the holiday season as an excuse to stage invasions of stores and shopping malls, blocking of major traffic, turning Christmas carols into Black Panther anthems, tearing down fences, burning cars and churches, and lighting cigarettes off of flaming American flags. Lovely stuff.

I’ve teamed up with the good folks at Grabien to compile some of the most interesting moments from the past week of protests, and you can check them out in the video above. Effective tactics? You be the judge.
