It’s snowing on the East Coast of America in January, so, of course, liberal buffoons are jumping at the chance to blame it all on climate change.
Que predictably moronic Bill Nye “The Science Guy.” Nye was on MSNBC Monday afternoon and was asked what he thought about the storm. His explanation for the blizzard that’s about to pound the northeast:“I just want to introduce the idea that this storm is connected to climate change,” Nye said. “I want to introduce that idea. I know there’ll be certain viewers who will become unglued, they’re throwing things at their television sets, and s on. But the economic effect of storms like this is huge!”
The super stupid Science Guy went on to explain how heavy snow can “cost your society a lot of money” through canceled flights. Duh!
“So I just want to introduce the idea that the strong winds that we had in southern California, the very strong winds that will be associated with this storm in the next couple days – these could be connected to climate change,” he said.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo also jumped on the “Climate change” bandwagon during a press conference Monday.
“You’re getting a repeat pattern of these extreme weather situations, whether it’s Hurricane Sandy or seven feet of snow, and that’s part of the changing climate, I believe, that has brought this new extreme weather pattern and it’s something we have to adjust to,” the Democratic dummy said.“There are many different kinds of storms and you can’t make a general statement about how climate change will affect all of them,” Dr. Anthony DelGenio, a NASA scientist, told National Journal. “Winter storms like the one we are seeing right now are one of the most difficult types of storms to predict. The research is just not complete yet. More work needs to be done.”
The Weather Channel is reporting that more than 30 inches of snow will pound the northeast from Massachusetts to New York. This blizzard is weather, not climate change.
I can only hope that Bill Nye and a few other liberals get buried under a few feet of global warming.
