• John Kerry: Sorry France, Now Listen To James Taylor Sing “You’ve Got Friend”

You’d think the French people have already suffered enough.

The Obama administration is still scrambling to fix the total PR disaster it created by failing to send a high-ranking official to the anti-terror Unity Rally in Paris after last week’s Islamic terror attack on Charlie Hebdo.

Somebody in the Obama administration communications department thought it was a good idea to have Secretary of State John Kerry give a “big hug” to the survivors of the attack on Friday.

    The scene was pathetic.

But what made it worse was when Kerry trotted out 70s-era guitarist James Taylor to serenade the crowd. Taylor, looking as pitiful as his melodic gesture, sang “You’ve Got a Friend” to the tortured crowd of family members and first responders (video above).

Yesterday, senior Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett actually said that they “got the substance right” on Paris.

It’s hard to tell whether this is all evidence of the normal amateur hour that we are used to seeing from this White House, or proof that these people are all high on cocaine.

It’s no wonder that our enemies aren’t afraid of us and our allies don’t trust us. Obama’s America is an international laughing stock.
