• Muslim “No-Go Zones” Are Now One Big Joke to the Media, But Consider Who’s Laughing

If you flipped on any cable news channel OTHER than Fox News today, you likely heard a healthy dose of laughter, ridicule, and disdain pointed in the direction of Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal (R) for believing in reports about so-called Muslim “No-Go Zones.” One such example can be seen above, as MSNBC’s Morning Joe made a huge goof out of the whole thing. NBC’s Ayman Mohyeldin was proud to report later in the day that British Prime Minister David Cameron allegedly referred to Jindal as a “complete idiot.”

CNN’s Paul Begala called Bobby the “class dunce,” reminding viewers that Jindal once said, “I don’t want Republicans to be the stupid party.”

On that same network, John Avlon called it a “tragedy” that Jindal would be “playing to the cheap seats” with talk of the No-Go Zones, while Michael Tomasky of The Daily Beast dubbed it a story that’s only “persuasive” to the gullible Fox News audience.

These French comedians even dressed up as Fox News reporters to make a complete mockery of the whole controversy.

And then we had the mayor of Paris threaten to SUE Fox News over their reporting, which she claims has ruined the reputation of her city. What great priorities:

All of this begs the question: what are these people so worried about? If the story isn’t true, then why are they getting their undies so knotted up? It seems like critics of the reporting have no more evidence to discredit the story than the evidence being presented to support it. Instead, this crowd is laughing — and threatening to sue — over it.

Meanwhile, you may recall that in the original exchange Governor Jindal had with CNN, reporter Max Foster insisted that he had never heard of these “No-Go Zones.” Yet CNN itself reported on something eerily similar to these “zones” back in 2013, with a report about an area in East London where Muslim men were trying to impose Sharia Law on the local population. Ironic, is it not?

Indeed, when you see this kind of a rush to flush a particular news story down the proverbial toilet, you have to ask yourself why the mainstream media are scampering away so fast.
