    The United States has had a rocky relationship with the country’s previous leader, Hamid Karzai. But it’s clear that Karzai’s successor is approaching things a bit differently.  Ashraf Ghani, a former World Bank official, was featured on 60 Minutes on Sunday, as reporter Lara Logan pressed him on Obama’s planned total withdrawal.

    If both parties or, in this case, multiple partners, have done their best to achieve the objectives, and progress is very real, then there should be willingness to reexamine a deadline,” he said.
