  • WOW! John Kerry Fined $50 For Not Shoveling His Snow

    It’s just glorious irony that John Kerry serves President Obama who has trumpeted such fatuous clichés like “smarter government.” And the irony goes nuclear when you consider that John Kerry, a unabashed big government liberal, was just punished for not obeying an extra ridiculous big government policy.

    Remember the huge snowstorm that hit the northeast earlier this week? It resulted in a few feet of snow falling in and around the Boston area. And in Boston, there’s a rule about not shoveling the snow out of your driveway after a huge storm.

    That’s right.

    Big bad Boston Mayor Martin Walsh is taking no prisoners and is cracking down on anyone who skimps on shoveling the snow outside his home.

    And this morning, John Kerry was fined $50 for failing to do so.

    Again, the irony is that stupid policies like this are the kind that give big government liberals like John Kerry the tingles.

    But of course Kerry is in Saudi Arabia for the funeral of King Abdullah, so he’ll have one of his cronies pay the fine or not pay the fine.

    Want more irony?

    A few months ago, Lurch said it is America’s Biblical “responsibility” to “confront climate change.” And a week later, Kerry vowed that climate change will be “front and center in all our diplomatic efforts.”

    Well, there’s about three feet of climate change in John Kerry’s driveway just waiting to be confronted.

    Smarter government never looked so stupid.
